Talking Ms Curious says hello from AZ and CA!

Hello y'all... I'm brand new to the forum but know just enough about 'forums' to know I should come and introduce myself first. I'm hoping to meet some folks to talk horses, homesteading, and moving back to country life with.

In a nutshell... I grew up country but have lived city through most of my adult life. Over the last few months, I've been slowly making plans to get back to rural life. I used to have a horse, only one, and am now looking for some temperate but scenic acreage in CA (only 5 - 10, with water (any ideas?)) and at barn plans so I can get two or three horses. Yes, I'll build the barn first, even if the land I find doesn't have a house! lol

It'd be great to chat with some people who have sound advice, stories to share and mishaps to laugh over. I need info... a lot of info. I'm hoping the existing forums can help and some friendly people here will throw in on the remaining questions I have. I'm a researcher in profession and at heart!
