Hi all!
So basically about a week or two ago, I recently bought a horse and she is absolutely lovely on ground and quiet.. She is very well educated and is very smart. Which seems to have its perks and down sides but, when I ride her, she is VERY forward moving. She never wants to walk or take it slow. When I ask her to walk, she will try to trot and when I try to pull her up for it, she consistently fights me. I try to give her a loose rein as I dont like riding on the bit but the second I give her too much rein, she trys to go go go! If I do ask her to trot, shes trying to canter. Basically, whatever gait Im asking her to do, shes one ahead. Or even when I just slightly try to adjust my seat or rein, shes trying to go faster. It just seems like tugging on the reins and small circles arnt really helping. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thank you
