Here's some off of the top of my head...

Picasso/Picassa
(Picasso's Masterpiece for show, Picassa for barn.)

Rainbow
(Double Rainbow, Reflected Rainbow, Red Rainbow, Moonbow, Lunar Rainbow, Fogbow, White Rainbow, Sleetbow, Titan's Rainbow, etc and so forth for show. Rainbow for barn.)

Domino
(Domino Set, The Domino Effect for show. Domino for name.)

Colorwheel
(Or Colorcircle, Primary Color, Secondary Color, Tertiary Color, Color Triangle, Color Mixing, Color Picker, Color Scheme, Paint Mixer, Color Theory... Anyone of those could be used as a dual show and barn name.)

Confetti
(Confectum, Confetto, Snowflake Confetti, Paper Confetti, Metallic Confetti, Petal Confetti, Wedding Confetti, Confetti Candy... Any of those would make great show names. Leaving Confetti for use as a barn name.)

Crayola
(Crayola Crayons, Colors of The World, Crayola experience, My First Crayola, Color Escapes... Any of those would make great show names. Leaving Crayola for use as a barn name.)

Hi @Sassy_mare: I'll give some throught to a barn name based on pix you provided. Enjoy your new horse. Are you saying you don't know their registered names?

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but with AQHA I thought a horse cannot be registered without knowing the sire and dam. Is that different with the pinto registry?

Is that different with the pinto registry?
The AQHA (and the APHA & ApHC registries for that matter) is a closed registry. Well semi-closed, since they allow Thoroughbreds (QH's and TB's for Paints, QH's, TB's and Arabians for Appaloosas) to be crossed in.

The PtHA is much more liberal when it comes to registration. They offer hardship registry to mares and geldings of unknown breeding, they just have to have some sort of pinto pattern.

You can also register ponies, donkeys, drafts and mules with them. They even have a separate registry for solid colored horses! There are 56 different breeds you can outcross Pintos with, subject only to your pintos body type.

As for names, what is her personality? I would just choose one basic simple name. I have registered horses and their names are ridiculous. I can see for showing in AQHA or PAINT registry they want some of the lineage in the name. If you are going to show her then I would pick a cute name.
Bee Boppin Betty. Olive. Sweet Sierra.

She feels like a Loretta to me for some reason, lol. Maybe that would be a good barn name?
Some registered/show names:
Bet on Loretta or Loretta
Darlin Deborah or Debbie
Sing a Serenade or Sarah
Fancy a Dance aka Fancy
Windy Wednesday or Wendy
Dancing in the Rain or Rain

I’m sure I could come up with hundreds but my mind is blank, good luck with your new mare!!!

Here's the registration requirements for Color Registry.

"A PtHA® Color Registry Horse must have four square inches of cumulative white in the qualifying zone and underlying pink skin. May be registered with an approved outcross breed or be of undocumented parentage." The color requirement is modified with the size of the equine requiring only three square inches for ponies and two square inches for miniatures. The PtHA® Color Registry does not accept any horses with Appaloosa characteristics, Mules or Donkeys. For example, but not limited to: Pinto, Paint, Quarter Horse, Arabian, Saddlebred, Thoroughbred, Warmblood, Draft, etc. For full outcross list, see rulebook.

I'm no good with names so passing on that.

She's 3 years old. But the photos I post she's 1 year old. So they older photos of her when she was younger. I don't have any recent and I didn't think she's going to be a very big horse . The ones that she is being rode is she's at 3. And they only rode her 2 times.i pla.i plan on doing a lot of ground with her for a month and other stuff on the ground before hauling her or trail riding with her .

If she has only had someone on her back twice and you plan on a month of ground work before trail riding are you going to be riding her during that time?
